This Privacy Policy explains how Yermix Studios ("we", "us", "our"), the developer of Word Finder: Card Puzzle Games (the "Game"), collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal information when you play our Game. We are committed to safeguarding your privacy and ensuring that your personal data is handled securely and lawfully.
By using Word Finder: Card Puzzle Games, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. This Policy is designed to comply with applicable privacy laws, including the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). If you do not agree with our practices, please do not install or use the Game.
We collect both personal data and non-personal data to provide and improve the Game. The types of information we may collect include:
We only collect personal data that is necessary for the purposes described in this Policy. If certain information is optional, we will inform you and obtain your consent if required.
We use the collected information for various legitimate purposes related to operating and improving the Game. These purposes include:
We will not use your personal information for purposes that are incompatible with those described above without your consent. If we plan to use your data for a new purpose, we will update this Privacy Policy and notify you as required.
The Game is supported by advertisements to provide a free gaming experience. We work with third-party advertising partners (such as [Insert Advertising Partner Names]) to display ads within the Game. These partners may collect and use certain data from the Game for ad targeting and delivery purposes.
Data Used for Advertising: Advertising partners may access your device’s advertising identifier (a resettable ID like Android’s Advertising ID or Apple’s IDFA), as well as other non-personal technical data (such as device type, OS version, and general location inferred from your IP address). They use this information to show you relevant ads, to avoid showing the same ad too frequently, and to measure ad effectiveness. We do not share information that directly identifies you (such as your name or contact info) with these ad networks.
Personalized Ads: Some advertising partners use the data collected to serve personalized (interest-based) ads. This means the ads you see might be based on your activity within our Game or across other apps. For users in certain regions (for example, the European Economic Area), we will only show personalized ads with your explicit consent in compliance with GDPR. If you do not consent or if you opt out, you will still see ads, but they may be less relevant (i.e., more generic or contextual ads).
Managing Ad Preferences: You have choices regarding advertising in our Game:
Please note that opting out of personalized ads does not remove ads entirely – you will continue to see ads, but they should be contextual and not based on your profile.
Third-Party Ad Networks: Our advertising partners have their own privacy policies which outline how they handle your data. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of [Insert Advertising Partner Names] and any other ad partners we use. These policies provide more information on their data practices and how you can exercise your rights with those partners. We contractually require our ad partners to comply with applicable privacy laws and to only use the data collected through our Game for the purposes we allow.
We use third-party analytics services (e.g., [Insert Analytics Provider Names]) to collect, monitor, and analyze data about the Game’s performance and how players use it. These analytics providers may process information such as:
We use this information to understand player preferences and behavior in order to improve our products. For example, analytics data can inform us which levels are too difficult or which features are most popular, guiding future game updates and improvements. Analytics data is typically aggregated and does not directly identify individual users.
Our analytics providers may use cookies or similar tracking technologies within the Game to enable their services (for instance, assigning random IDs to unique users for analytics purposes). All data collected by these providers on our behalf is used strictly for our internal purposes as described and is not shared or sold by us for independent use. We ensure that our use of analytics is in compliance with applicable privacy laws. If you are an EU/EEA user, we rely on a valid legal basis (such as our legitimate interest in improving our service, or consent where required) to process analytics data. You can contact us if you have questions about our analytics practices.
The Game offers in-app purchases (IAPs) for certain items or features. When you make an in-app purchase, it is processed by the platform’s app store (such as Google Play for Android or the Apple App Store for iOS), and is subject to that platform’s privacy and security policies. We do not receive your credit card number, bank account info, or other financial details; those are handled by the platform. We receive only information necessary to fulfill your purchase.
Purchase Data: We record basic information about the transaction provided by the app store, such as the product purchased, the date and time of purchase, and a unique transaction ID. This information is used to deliver the content or features you bought (for example, crediting your account with in-game currency or disabling ads after a premium purchase). We may also use this data to restore your purchases if you reinstall the Game or use the Game on a new device with the same app store account.
Third-Party Payment Processors: Generally, all in-app payments are governed by the Google Play or Apple App Store terms. We recommend reviewing the privacy policy of the platform you use for purchases to understand how your financial data is handled by them.
If you have any issues or questions about billing or refunds, you can contact us or the relevant app store’s customer support. We will use the transaction information only as needed to assist with your inquiry or to resolve the issue.
We take reasonable measures to protect the information we collect from loss, theft, misuse, and unauthorized access or disclosure. Depending on the type of data, it may be stored on your device, on our servers, or on servers of our authorized third-party service providers.
Storage Locations: Personal data we collect may be processed and stored in various countries. For example, if we use cloud services or third-party partners (like advertising or analytics providers), your data might be transferred to and stored on servers outside your country of residence, including servers in the United States or other jurisdictions. Regardless of where your data is processed, we will take steps to ensure it remains protected in line with this Privacy Policy. If we transfer personal data out of the European Economic Area (EEA), we will rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or other legally accepted mechanisms to ensure an adequate level of protection.
Security Measures: We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your data. This includes encryption of data in transit (e.g., using HTTPS for communication between the Game and our servers) and encryption at rest where appropriate, firewalls and intrusion detection systems to prevent unauthorized access, and access controls to ensure only authorized personnel can access personal data. We also regularly update and patch our systems to address security vulnerabilities. While we strive to protect your information, please be aware that no security measure is perfect; we cannot guarantee absolute security of data, especially during transmission over the internet.
Data Retention: We retain your personal data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. For example, we may keep:
When personal data is no longer needed for our business purposes or legal requirements, we will delete it or anonymize it so that it can no longer be associated with you. If immediate deletion is not possible (for example, because the data is stored in backup archives), we will securely store the data and isolate it from any further use until deletion is feasible.
At Yermix Studios, we are committed to protecting your privacy and providing you with control over your data. Below is our account deletion policy for Word Finder and our other games.
How to Delete Your Account:
Open the game application
Navigate to the Settings menu (gear icon in the top right)

Your progress may be restored partially using data stored on the device in case you login to the game after account deletion from the device you’ve used for playing the game before. You can avoid this by uninstalling the game.
Data That May Be Retained:
Anonymized usage analytics (without personal identifiers)
Transaction records required for financial compliance (retained for 3 years)
Support correspondence (retained for 1 year)
If you have any questions about the account deletion process, please contact us through the "CONTACT US" option in the Settings menu.
If you are a user in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, you have specific rights under the GDPR regarding your personal data. Yermix Studios is the “data controller” of your personal information for the purposes of the GDPR. We are committed to complying with these requirements and protecting your rights.
Legal Bases for Processing: We only collect and process personal data when we have a valid legal basis under GDPR. Depending on the context, our legal bases include:
Your Rights: Under the GDPR, you have the following rights with respect to your personal data:
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the information in the Contact Us section below. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests (for example, to ensure we do not disclose your data to someone else). We will respond to your request within the timeframe required by law (generally within one month for GDPR requests).
If you believe we have not complied with your privacy rights, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. You may contact the data protection authority in the EU country where you reside, or the Belgian Data Protection Authority (since Yermix Studios is based in Belgium).
If you are a California resident, you are protected by the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) (as amended by the CPRA). This section describes your CCPA rights and how to exercise them, and the categories of personal information we collect and disclose. It applies solely to California residents who use our Game.
Categories of Personal Information Collected: In the past 12 months, we may have collected the following categories of personal information (as defined by the CCPA) from and about users:
Purposes for Collecting Personal Information: We collect these categories of information for the business and commercial purposes described in the “How We Use Your Information” section of this Policy. In summary, we use personal information to operate and improve our Game, to serve advertising, to process in-app purchases, to communicate with users, to ensure security, and to comply with legal obligations.
Sharing of Personal Information: We may share personal information with third parties for business purposes. In the past 12 months, we may have disclosed the above categories of personal information to the following types of third parties:
We do not sell your personal information for monetary compensation. However, the CCPA’s definition of a "sale" is broad and may include scenarios where we share personal information with third parties in exchange for “value” (such as allowing us to use their ad services, which in turn help us monetize our Game). The sharing of device identifiers and usage data with advertising partners for the purpose of serving personalized ads may be considered a “sale” under CCPA’s broad definition. We treat such sharing as a sale for CCPA compliance purposes, and you have the right to opt out of it as detailed below.
Your CCPA Rights: As a California resident, you have the following rights:
Exercising Your Rights (CCPA): To exercise your Right to Know or Right to Delete, please contact us using the information in the Contact Us section. Describe your request with sufficient detail for us to process it and verify your identity. We may ask for information like your user ID, device ID, or other details about your interaction with the Game to help verify your request. We will confirm receipt of your request within 10 business days and respond within 45 calendar days as required by the CCPA (or up to 90 days if we inform you that more time is needed).
To exercise the Right to Opt-Out of Sale (i.e., to opt out of sharing your data with third-party advertising partners for targeted advertising), you may:
If you have an authorized agent making a request on your behalf, we may require proof of the authorization (such as a signed permission from you). Also, if you are under 16 years of age, CCPA requires that you (or your parent/guardian if you are under 13) opt in to any sale of personal data rather than opt out; however, as noted, our Game is not intended for users under 13, and we do not knowingly collect or sell their data.
Our Game and services are not intended for children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 13, please do not download or use the Game, and do not provide us with any personal information. If you are between 13 and 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), please only use our Game with the permission and supervision of your parent or guardian, especially when it comes to in-app purchases or providing personal information.
If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal data from a child under 13, we will take immediate steps to delete that data from our servers. If a parent or guardian believes that their child under 13 may have provided us with personal information, please contact us using the information in the Contact Us section. We will promptly investigate and remove any such information.
We also comply with age-related privacy regulations such as the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) in the United States and relevant provisions of the GDPR in the EU (which may require parental consent for processing personal data of children under 16 in certain countries). Our commitment is to protect the privacy of young players and to not knowingly engage in any data processing that violates children’s privacy laws.
We may update or modify this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes to how we collect, use, or share your personal information, we will notify you by reasonable means. This may include an in-app notification or a notice on our website (if applicable), in addition to updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this Policy.
We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about our data practices. Continuing to use the Game after a revised Privacy Policy has been posted or communicated to you will signify your acceptance of the updated terms, to the extent permitted by law.
If you have any questions, concerns, or requests regarding this Privacy Policy or your personal data, please contact us. We take your privacy inquiries seriously and will respond as soon as reasonably possible.
Contact Information for Privacy Matters:
When contacting us, please include any relevant information that may help us assist you, such as your username or Player ID (if applicable), the platform you play on (Android/iOS), and a clear description of your request or concern.
By contacting us, you consent to our use of the information you provide (including your contact details) to respond to you. We will use this information only to address your inquiry and for no other purposes.
Thank you for reading our Privacy Policy. Your privacy is important to us, and we are dedicated to protecting it while you enjoy Word Finder: Card Puzzle Games.
